Aluminium Seatbelt guides

Postby jayod12b » Tue Dec 08, 2009 1:45 pm

Just wondering can anyone source any information on these?

Pictures? Diagrams?
Were they an added extra or is it just a fto enthusiast who made them

Any help appreciated
Thanks

If you do go ahead and make them I'd be interested in a set.
Currently in my collection:
'98 Toyota Starlet...
'79 Mini Clubman 1380cc ~100BHP (I hope)
'79 BMW 728
Dilogoat86

Seconded! Will go along well with the brushed steel/alu look I have planned for the interior.

I'd sat they're very hard to make, they're such an odd shape and have to be strong too.

Yea the plan is to make a set just trying to find a bit of history on them,

Have seen pictures of the alu. guides before but cant find anything at the moment
Does anyone on here have a set?

Maybe you could differ from the original design?

Not picking holes or anything.

In the model i have its flat on the bottom which differs from the orginal,
Going to see if this will work when fitted to the seat and wont look out of shape

Fantastic... I love it... do more bits! not so important what they are, as long as they're shiny..

Almost 4yrs on, did this or the CAD/DWG drawings get off the ground as I'm in talks with a CNC company who is interested in giving this a go. However, I've been struggling to find a set of DWG files which the guy needs. No idea on costs yet, so don't hold your breath just yet. :)
