There was a few head-the-balls in the place at the time and they were a bit busy, I'll drop into 'em again for a gander and take a look.

Wow!

Looks like a real weapon.

Are there any UK/I versions of these on the road here or are all imported ?

Looks REALLY clean allround. Is that a set of coilovers I spot??

The Rota Torques will look well under there.

Cheers lads. Buffer hasn't been out yet Bernard, it really is a very clean car. It has a set of Tein colivers alright, very compliant ride, not in the least bit thrashy. After the wheels, all it needs is a cambelt change, new ARB bushes, ATF change and AYC fluid changes (3 different fluids!)

Try http://www.modifymycar.com - has the VR4 and all, you can try different style wheels, see what it looks like.

Car looks excellent btw, well wear!

Amazing what a nice set of rims can do - you should weight the old vs new to see what the difference is as well.

Very nice, not too big and plenty of tyre there too.

What size are they?

They're 17 x 8 , 18's would have on without too much trouble but I didn't want to detract from the car by going too big on the rim size (that and the fact I didn't want to screw with the handling and end up with tramlining etc). I might drop the suspension ever so slightly, that said, I think it looks OK as it is. The standard suspension is set very high as this Carzone ad illustrates:

http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/Mitsubi ... .5/908344/

(@ MfFTO, think I prefer to Torques to the GTRs ;))

Same size (17 x 8) as mine,
The brembos from a EVO might bolt straight on but I can't see the discs fitting...
Saying that, I could well be wrong.

EVO V + Brembo calipers will bolt straight on, this is a mod I have planned (the stock brakes don't cut the mustard), from this perspective, wheel choice was key.
