Hear hear! - I wouldn't give up my willy for a grand a year!

I suppose its basically a tax on having a willy!
Personally I hope they don't tax it like with engines and start bringing size into the equation! :P

:smt046

And there's no mention of emissions there

I didn't like to bring it up - but I'm married so there wouldn't be much to tax there!

What model they they quote you on? Seems really cheap for your particulars. I was paying 3600 old Irish punts - 3rd party on my first FTO when I was in my 20's.

22 years old, full license, only driving for a year and wit my own policy. I have a 1.8 manual. FTO's are imports but i was asked over the phone 'was the car imported?.' I said yes and the quote over the phone was €1400.
I checked this phone quote against the online quote. It was €906 when i put the model in as a GS 2 door. If i changed the model to the option 'importDEA102' or something like that, (it was 1.8 car anyway) the insurance jumped €500. makes no sense from what i can figure out.
Follow that at all? Might want to see what the lads have to say about this though!

Ryanair wont quote for an FTO, and Tesco is Eagle Star I think.

Was that through Axa direct or through a broker - good quote.
I see that you're down the country too - that also counts for a couple of 100

That's not great for a girl :P Mine was lower last year as a 21 year old male.

Kinda made it sound like I'm not a male anymore there. :r
