We should keep any MIJ feature for a bigger meet?
We can realistically only get one feature ever per magazine.

I agree, 10+ cars would make for a much better feature.

I dont want to seem like a bit of a glory hunter but can we not hold MIJ off till theres a realistic chance of a bigger meet as in a weekend that we often go on? As in the NI meet or another one? There are a lot of us that cant travel to Dublin all the time for mini-meets and that, would like to be in something like that too you know.

I'm with Martin on this one,

I think a meet that gets photographed:

Should include site members from all over the country
Should be arranged WELL in advance so people can prep their cars
Should have a great location, we need to work on that in particular.

I appreciate that Keith has a contact in MIJ, and photoshoots are great, but as we only get one shot at this, it needs to be done right and at the right time.

back to the topic lads.

this meet will follow the standard of the other ones (meet/chat /photoshoot/ cruise/ photoshoot/ and end with a bite @ any fast-food)that should cover 2-3 hours and i prefer it to be on during daylight so sunday 19 oct in the afternoon me thinks

If I'm free on Sunday, I'll pop along, its difficult to organise the logistics when you're down one car!

there are 5 cars confirmed and another few who said might come.

so dont think 'oh if there is only a few i'm not going'
sure is only a mini meet (remember ther were oficial meets where the turnout was poor ) but dont forget DUblin is the home of most fto's in ireland .

been to a few meets of other car clubs and enthusiasts in the last year and i must say the turnout was good but when it comes to our own fto club there is always problems on turnout.

see u there
