We've had the car about 2 years and its done about 3000 miles in this time. Its been serviced by myself, the most recent was this week - new pads, filters and oil ( the plugs have plenty of life left in them).

A new exhaust was put on a few months back and the stepper motor was also replaced, laser alignment was carried out on the suspension last month. The main drive belt was replaced 6 months ago.

Its a nippy little yoke, the 1.25 Endura engine is pretty bullet proof, its chain driven so no messing with timing belts etc.

If you're interested, pm or email me (ciaran @fto-ireland.com) your phone number (my SIM is dead right now). No test pilots, time wasters or heroes may apply.

I've driven one of those and agree....the 1.25 engine packs a serious punch for it's cc. Exhausts seem to be a weak point on them ,big plus that it's sorted. 800 quid for a car with 2years NCT, not bad!

Well its a nice little runaround for €800.
You'd certainly have a LOT of Fiestas/Polos/Micras etc sold in the time it would take to sell an FTO. Do you reckon theres a market in buying and selling 1litre - 1.3 litre cars of similar vintage?
