Was nice to see you all today, Karting was good fun in the rain not a great day for a 1st timer, Hopefully next time it will be dry some nice cars there as well, sorry had to head off so soon after next time will make it an overnighter and Leinster leinster

Another good meet, nice to see the numbers bumped by the other clubs, shame about the weather on Saturday but it didn't dampen the craic.

Great meet again all. Had a great time. Big thanks to all who came along and participated. Well done to everyone for getting 3 clubs together, and it was great to see the different cars together on the day. Massive thanks to Grace for all the organising, there was a lot went into it, and also for the cakes and treats on Saturday! It would be great to see something like this happen again, I'd be all up for getting other owners clubs involved in our meets, to be honest we need the numbers as our own turnout is getting pretty poor the last couple of years. I'll be uploading pics shortly and will put up the link when done.
PS - John I didnt realise you were heading away straight away when we got to Kilkenny, didnt get a chance to say cheerio!

In fairness Al, Kilkenny isn't a whole pile of a distance from Dublin, we like to actually drive somewhere for a meet, and not just sit in a car park somewhere watching the world go by.
It takes a lot of effort and organisation to plan and arrange meets, and a better turnout should really be achievable no matter where in the country the meet is held. We've driven all over the country to meets, even up to the north, and for people not to budge outside their front door is a bit much.

Great weekend. Having the 3 car types was really cool, and nice to meet some new faces. Sound bunch, so hopefully will see ye along for future meets.
Karting was good craic despite the weather, it was ridiculously slippy. I think that was one of the first times where there was no controversy over the results!
Thanks to all who came along, and Grace and MJ for arranging food, lodgings and karting. Twas a good one!

Twas a great weekend- from start to finish- it was BRILLIANT! Id do it again next weekend- next time il have to get a better kart- mine had tyre magnets in it and it was all broken so thats why I lost!!

As per meets- look at the meets section for upcoming events- members like a drive, an activity in a new location each time.

The wheels on the car go round and round! Unless you've got square ones!!

A the kids were looking for food and as we had passed McDonalds on the way into Kilkenny that's where they wanted to go, Great to see ye again I still think I won the karting the results were put the wrong way around. Also Eoin was playing at half time today at the CARLOW match and had to be in well before it sure you think he was playing in the all Ireland.

Sounds like a good time was had by all. Cows and FTO meets are pretty synonymous at this stage, no surprise they made an appearance!

@ Al - meets are occasionally held in Dublin and are not usually event driven - keep an eye on this forum for updates. Its likely a few FTO heads will end up @ the Terenure show in July, see here.
