TV Cards

Postby Speedyboy » Mon Nov 10, 2003 2:42 pm

HI all
Im thinking about buying a USB tv card for this computer. From what research ive done i understand you can hook the card up to a scart connection and watch tv on the comp monitor and record as mpeg to the hard drive??

Has anyone any experience/ reccommendations ?

Cheers

I don't think you can hook scart up to a TV card, you should be able to use with RF (std. coax) or S-video however. I've used Hauppauge TV receivers in the past and I can recommend them.

Like the creative cinema blaster, can't beat it on price(€89) TV tuner card 64Mb graphics etc.etc. well worth a look. Good bang for the buck. Gotta get the newer drivers from the web site though..
The truth is out there, someone send me the URL.....

You can get it directly from Creatives site for a few quid cheaper, anyone would think I work for them ;)
