Failed the NCT!?!

My baby failed!!? Passed on everything but the front suspension/shocks system. Diff right and left on the rear axel was only 2%. Difference right and left on the front was 32% and I am only allowed 30% diff. How annoying!? Tyre pressures right was 31.5 and left was 31 so this could have pushed me over the edge...I dunno.

Paul Nolan reckons drop the pressures to 30 and try it again rather then put in 2 new shocks?!

Anyone had this?

A 32% imbalance between shocks is quite a lot, sounds like one of the fronts is on the way out or is defective. What readings did you get left and right? (see here for a copy of my last NCT for comparison purposes)

Offside 38MM

I called the chap in Honda I got the car off, he's gonna sort it out for me

He was saying that the NCT centres have failed to read some of the Hondas like this before, especially the S2000 and HRV. They feel it could be a wrong reading. Annoying when my gleaming S2000 had about 10 lads around it in the testing bay admiring it and then there were 1996 Nissan Micras and the like passing!!!
