Have you tried guest houses in the town?

It appears my jokey retort was lost on you...

Bernard +2 [3]
Topcat [4]
Colm [5]
CJ [6]
MyfFTO +5 [12]
Seb [13]
Mustang [14]
crayzidane [15]
optical [16]

This is my understanding of who's coming karting.
We can't do a GP with 16 people, but we can do the 45 minute session (30 mins then 15). unless we get 4 more definites we'll go with the 45 min session

colm_mcm wrote:Actually guys, that quote was from another place, the Shannon Oaks in Portumna.

The Merriman (Kinvara) quote is as follows:

Thank you for your enquiery for the 5th of December09
We do have availability on that date, the rate will be €27.50 per person sharing bed and breakfast and we are doing a christmas 4 course menu for 27.50 per person
the single room supplement is €15.00 per person per night.

I reckon we deffo go to the Merriman, they looked after us there before.
The 4 course for another €27.50 sounds like a winner too. what are peoples thoughts?

The Merriman have quoted me €50. May I dispute this based on your email? I have been speaking to Johanne too and mentioned fto ireland...

There's obviuosly some mistake. Try asking:
Do you know who I am :?:
and if you get a puzzled response.
Tell her you're Girl of evening news and Forza 3 fame.
That'll set her right :nwor

Only kidding :smt002 That sucks should be €27.5 + €15ss =€42.50 right? I know it's not a huge difference but it's the principle of the matter. They issued a quote, on which we based our choice of destination. It is simply not on to be upping the price. Unless it's for a superior room/service?

She'd want to be performing sexual favours for that price.

Colm, you have PM.

Otherwise I'm staying with Bernard or elsewhere.

Karting is booked. Depending on numbers that show on the day we'll be looking at a GP or a 45 minute session.

If we have 15 or more we should push for the GP - Its not like Tynagh are gonna be overrun with business at this time of year.
I've done a GP before in Tynagh with 15 people.

Balls! Work decided to throw their Christmas party the same day as this. I was going to skip it, but given the current state and the possibility (probability even) for more cuts in the New Year, I'm gonna to have to attend. Gutted to be missing this, I'd say it'll be a savage weekend.

You talkin' to me?
Usual spot suit? We could meet up with the Clare lads en route.

Since Tom can't go does anyone want his room?
I have a twin booked for myself and Jim but I also had a single booked, if anyone wants it let me know before I cancel.
