2.) I would like to put two new dials, oil temp and oil pressure in place of the CD holder under the radio, how do I get the information from the EMS :?:

3.) Can anyone recommend good alloys and where to get them and the best tyres. :?:

Your help would be appreciated.

There's a guide here for the starter button.

I'd recommend you fit a switch to the clutch/brake pedal so that the button only works when the clutch/brake is also pressed.

2 - these shoud have their own senders, so you won't need to go near the EMS

I just got an engine start button and was wondering exactly what wires need to be connected from the ignition barrel. I can see the main live wire (thick red) but I am unsure of what other wire to connect to and don't wanna do something to kill my car, or myself :)

On the bright side of things, my central locking started working properly after removing the entire centre dash. The P/side was not working with the c/l and is now fine. However, the left side of the aircon display is now not working properly. At first it was dead and with a little tap, it lit up, but the left side is very dull. I hope it's not died on me. Entire centre console is now satellite silver :) looks sweet.

Sounds like a loose bulb. Easy enough fix.

problem is accessing it :(

I had the whole thing out and its all sprayed satellite silver now. Looks pretty good too. Ran my gps cable up through the dash speaker cover aswell. The old ciggi lighter now has a start button (to be connected) and i will add to spare sockets on either side of the console for the rare occasion they might be needed. Will add pics soon.
