Still havn't had any feedback on that point, from what I gather, theres not a whole lot in Edgeworthstown, Lonfford would be the better option although a place along the road wouldf be better than the town, we might have some problems trying to find parking for 20 FTOs...

I wasn't planning on staying over myself, I'm on-call next w/e....

Sorry I'm not going to make it to the meet. The car is running very poorly at the moment I'm getting it looked at again this weekend, I'm after spending a fortune and its still not right. I was really looking forward to meeting you all and seeing what you had done with your cars. Next time hopefully.

Ouch, ouch, ouch :smt021
Gutted, I had a run in with my 7yo little fella......... Messing about as you do and smack, the back of his head meets sweetly with my right eye, busts the eyelid wide open, blood everywhere and swelling that has got so big it has come down over my eye. Doc says I should avoid driving, nevermind go-karting :!:
Gonna have to miss out on tomorrow and was looking forward to it as well. Hope ye all have a good day and take some pics so I can see wot I missed.

Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come out on Saturday, unfortunately we didn't get the numbers that were expected due to a few no-shows and people having to pull out at the last minute, that said, the weather on the day was pretty bad which I'm sure was a contributing factor. That said, we made the best of the day, karting was great craic even though we all got completely soaked, the Midlands tracks was excellent but difficult to navigate due to the rain and eyes full of muck!

As per usual, MfFTO was his usual competitive self, this of course paid off in the form of first place in the half hour endurance race. I look forward to contesting the title in the dry, my 4th place effort just wasn't good enough on the day ;)

All in, we had 9 FTOs together at one time, JD and Nigel popped out to the Foxhunter briefly and I believe Chuck made an appearance at the karting track but didn't hang around! After karting, plenty of pics were taken and we headed off down the Mullingar bypass (via Mullingar town - someone was following Gfalls home to Carlow it would seem :)) to the Roadhouse restaurant for a bit of grub and more idle FTO banter. Heres one pic of the cars outside the track, I'd appreciate if those of you who took pics would forward them onto me so as I can pick the best of the lot for inclusion on the site:

I look forward to the next meet (get your thinking caps on guys!), lets hope the weather will be kinder to us next time around.

Hi lads. It's Ken(the lad with Aido -TheJaff).
I brought my camera to work to upload the images, but for some reason, it won't appear as a removable storage drive. :x I've tried re-installing the latest drivers for USB, aswell as re-installing the original software, with no joy. I will save them onto PC at home and upload them tommorrow. :)

Just wanted to say sorry for the no show, something last minute came up that had I needed to look after, weather would not have put me off. I really hate no shows myself so am really sorry, didn’t have any contacts to say I would not be able to make it.

Won’t be missing the next one, and I should have the car back on the road by then too. Currently driving a focus but would of loved to meet up with yez anyway.
