Only realised it was on in Cork yesterday, so going to head up to it myself. Was a good show in the RDS if its the one I'm thinking.

It's a mint 88 900 Aero 16v Full Pressure Turbo with some Carlsson and Abbot Racing goodies, some other very tasteful mods and full Saab history. owned by an enthusiast.

there are a few different engines, 8 valves and 16 valves, light pressure turbos and full pressure turbos,

The 16 valve full pressure turbo, is 175bhp standard, torque figure is 201 lb-ft.

Carlsson (basically a UK dealer special edition) model gets another 10bhp on top of that if it doesn't have a cat fitted. just has a different APC,

[Compression ratio] 9.00:1
[Fuel system] Bo LH-Jet fuel inj.
[Maximum power] 187.6 PS (185.0 bhp) (138 kW) @5500 rpm
[Specific output] 93.2 bhp/litre
[Maximum torque] 273.0 Nm (201 ft·lb) (27.8 kgm) @2800 rpm
[Specific torque] 137.53 Nm/litre

[0-50 mph (80 km/h)] 5.90 s
[0-60 mph] 8.00 s
[0-100 mph] 21.50 s
[Standing ¼mile] 16.30 s
[Top speed] 211 km/h (131 mph)
[Power-to-weight] 143.41 bhp/ton

Went to have a look at this weekekd..

The car is in unbelievable condition, and has been maintained obsessively!
Turbo gives that feeling of being pushed back into the seat, it handles tidily, and the wheels and tyres are only a few months old.

Will be heading back for it next Saturday and either getting the ferry back to Dublin from Holyhead or to Cork and catch the millstreet show.
