parts advice required.

Postby Helen » Wed Mar 09, 2011 11:59 pm

Hey everyone, its been a LONG time. hope everyone is keeping well. great to still see some of the familiar names :):).

I need abit of assistance of sourcing a part for the back passenger side of my 98 GPX manual. Its linking from the body to the bottom of the passenger side rear shock/strut. It looks like it has a bushion at either end and there seems to be some play within it.
can anyone advise where to get one as cannoot get it at local autofactors.

Thanks in advance.

Camskill have these

Dunno what part you're looking at but there is a big arm that's an absolute pig to change as the steel bolt welds itself to the aluminium centre of the bush where it joins to the chassis. Cutting it out is the only option.

The bottom arm is the one I was talking about. You'll also need a new bolt if its this.
This seems to be an upgraded part, if so you should do both sides I suppose
