reset central locking fob

my fob has not been used for a while. replaced battery but i think it needs to be reset. how do you do it?

I have yet to see anybody use the FTO transmitter/receiver with their central locking. It's 99.9% certain that you have a 3rd party system installed and as such it would be easiest if you could identify the manufacture and maybe even model that you have..more often than not these "central locking" systems are actually part of the alarm installation, so if you have details the details of your alarm that might help too.
