Just passed it there today, I thought I would have had problems with supercharger and emissions, but it sailed through....

They did however seem to skip the brake test, the measured the dept of the rollers, then compared it to the height of the front bumper, then just drove around it!!! But the tester still passed it, so I'm a happy camper!!

Same for when I put my Zed through the NCT - mentioned the rear LSD to them and they decided it wasn't worth the hassle of doing the brake test.

Couldnt see a car like that ever failing, they must have known when they saw it rolling in it was in top notch nick.
Always thought though if a car didnt make it onto a ramp or rollers that they had to fail it, as they couldnt test it fully. Or maybe its at the descretion of the tester is it?

I think it was at this tester's discretion, he was one of the few sound ones, we had a chat before hand and he seemed genuinely interested in the car, that and there were at all times 2-3 standing around the car, looking under the bonnet and so on, one of them even took a picture on his camera phone.......... I suppose they knew well that the car is well looked after and wouldn't be un- road worthy...
They didn't even check the boot or any of the usual tests....

I'm a happy camper either way as it will hopefully make the car more saleable now, I still need to do the ads though, must take the thumb out!
