What do you hope to be motoring in a few years time, realisticly?

My plan is to hold onto the FTO and pick me up either an RX-7 or a Skyline R33 GTS-T. Some serious financial re-evalution would be required not to mention some reform in the insurance industry, but I reckon its possible.

Hmmm...I reckon the FTO won't be worth that much in a few years, so assuming I still have it then and have the space I'll prob hang on to it to play with.

By that time old aged sensibility might have got the better of me, in which case I could go back to my Citroens, the new C4 is a possibility! Having said that it could go the other way, but I think I'd go for something rare, old Porsche or something. I've always had a thing for Beemers too though. I forsee many hours trawling autotrader ahead!

I've taken a fancy to the RX-8. 2nd hand prices are still way overinflated, but once the jap imports start flooding in they will drop to a more realistic level. If you need a sensible four seater I reckon it's a good bet.
I also fancy the legacy B4 RSK, but not sure that I could see myself owning one!

Very likely to be RX8 or S2000.
Or if I was not doing much mileage then an 8-10year old 911 would be feasible.

However there still enough 98-00 FTO's out there with low mileage to be getting on with and if I was to change tomorrow then this is where I'd be heading.

R34 Skyline GT-R is the way forward for me. Not for a few years yet mind you, but i love the potential

I'm planning for a Porsche 911 or a Porsche Boxster in a couple of years.

Seeing as the insurance costs are almost identical between the boxster and the FTO you might as well!

That's what I figured, and with me being over the hill (31) I should get reasonable insurance on a boxster. Not sure if I'd stretch to a 911 but I'm partial to the 993 model.

One other car I'd consider is the M3.... the look like they could be acceptable money in a couple of years (saw a 2003 listed for €45,000)

hope to get an M3 convertible 00 to 03 within next 18 months, will keep the 99 gpx, unless i find a 00 black, white or icecelle blue gpvr/gpx.

but my hope among hopes, would be to import a 1974 plymouth barracuda, fitted with the hemi engine :P.
ive looked into this several years ago, a lot of money for this model, might try again soon as now im financially better off
