INTERNATIONAL FTO-IRELAND.COM MEET.

Postby StewyD32 » Sun Dec 23, 2012 4:01 am

Thought i'd have a bit of a meet with Technikhaus (Braydon), while I'm travelling around New Zealand.
Great guy, and the aftermarket lights in his front bumper are amazing, will be do that myself when I get to OZ and pick another one up. A lot more planned in the pipeline for his FTO, so keep an eye out for him. Some good original ideas.

Sharp looking front end on that FTO alright. Cleaned up the front end with the removal and smoothing of front badge.

BUT what in the name of jaysus are you driving? :P

You'd probably be faster. The thing is so slow, but it was the cheapest car i could find.
The car rental package is actually called "el cheapo" from juicy car rentals so what do ya expect lol.

Is that the island east of Auckland?
Braydon is in Dunedin near the south of the South Island, and I'm back in Christchurch just for Christmas then getting the ferry to the north island and driving around that for a while up to Auckland before we leave.

Are you staying in Waiheke or moving onto the main land. The South Island is a lot better than the north by all accounts.

More than likely you'll see one. Their everywhere. I see about. 5-10 a day. Was telling braydon that back home we might see one or 2 a month.

Yes it's the island just off Auckland and is supposed to be good - where the people from Auckland like to have their holiday homes. We'll be based there as opposed to across in Auckland.

I've been down South before alright - nice scenery and like a step back in time. Great roads, no cars, fewer people and about 40m sheep ;-)
