mivec into gr

i know its probally been asked but cant seem to find anything on the subject. how easy is to put a gpx engine into my gr? ive been offered a gpx with bad bodywork cheap but the engine is good. mine is a gr and the manual gearbox, could i mate the mivec to my manual gearbox. before anyone says just buy a mivec i like my motor and spent too much on it. so what do you guys think? cheers

I would be very interested in hearing how this works out. My brother has mentioned that he would like to drop a mivec engine into his gr, after all the love i put into the car, wouldn't want to just buy a mivec, which hasn't received the attention the gr has.
97 Manual GPX. Icecelle Blue.
Other Stuff: Induction kit. Front Strut. Apex Lowered. 17" Kahns. Quad exhaust. HID lights. Glow dials and rings/cups. Black leather seats. Window tints. Sunroof.

exactly mate surely the engine mounts are the same as its same engine, its the wiring that bothers me

If you do it, take photo/video for reference. It will help you with wiring, and will help everyone else who decides to do it

Shouldn't be too hard to swap looms once you label everything.

As has been said many times, it's not worth the effort,

thats not the right attitude m8, we need will power, its worth it because too much money been spent on the car, turbos and all that is too expensive but to swap these units is way cheaper to gain a few more ponies

Ecu
exhaust
air piping/filters

and knowledge

that's what you need . Gearbox feets like a glove so do the dials and other bits
I'd say it can be done in a day if you have the parts ready
no1. manual GR 96 l no2. tip GR 95 l no3. manual Gpx 95 l no.4 manual Gpx 95 l no.5 manual Gpx 96 l no.6 tip GR 95 - in 2011 took a break from the FTO scene
