Yes she has been lovingly polished and garaged to protect her from the harsh irish winter weather!

on the road for €12000, including VRT and registered in the buyers name, and delivered in necessary. I doubt you will see a better FTO brought into the country this year. (unless i bring in another grade 4 of course!) :D

It looks really well, all you need to do now is give the engine bay a good clean!

FTOs are unique in that you can pick up a 95 for half the price of a 97, on that basis, I'd be interested to see if you shift it for 12k.

TV aerials?

Postby AL » Wed Jan 12, 2005 1:25 am

i could be wrong but ive always thought they were antennae for GPS, a friend had them on his STI rear window, he had a full CD/MD and GPS but there was no sign of a DVD/TV ever existing in the car...............

Have these on my FTO as well - Pretty sure they are for the TV - though I also have SAT-NAV - I don't have the relevant software to run over here. I'm actually considering taking them off - they look like two extra wipers.

QUESTION
I quite like the colour of this car. Can someone confirm if this Monaco Red? (it's the only colour missing from Steve Hemmings site :? )
http://www.mitsubishi-fto.org/info/colours.htm
Maybe it's the camera/lighting, but it looks to be a different (nicer) shade of red than any FTO's I've seen in the flesh. All of which I believe were passion red no offence to any passion red FTO owners

Postby AL » Wed Jan 12, 2005 9:32 pm

is it only me or is there an FTO colour omited from that list on that site Mustang, the icelle blue..........looks more purple than anything, but it could be the bad light, something red reflecting in the paintwork or me dodgie peepers
still doesnt explain, if it is in fact the icelle blue.................... then where is the purple :(

Agreed
I had not even seen a picture of an icelle blue FTO before yesterday,
the picture on the FTOOC looks much more blue!

That icelle blue is a very nice colour.

I reckon its Passion red, maybe Mivec can check the engine compartment plate to verify, Passion red is R71, Monaco red is R82. I'm nearly sure that the inclusion of Monaco red on the Buying Guide on the main site is a mistake on my part, I'll check it out.

Does that price include an NCT guarantee? I realise it can't be NCT'd until registered!
