A big hello to all,
Been snooping on the site for a couple of days and must say, it rocks, loads of info, helpful hits and tips and friendly atmosphere, keep up the good sprits lads.

Sorry, I’m a bit of a blow in,
but just wanted to say hi to all my brothers in arms. 8)

Yup, dunno how many times I've been asked if I'll get a GTO after the FTO! Nice cars, never had the pleasure of a spin in one, behind the wheel or not, but it'll have to be done sometime I think!

Never had the pleasure of a spin in an FTO. Very similar on the inside if you ask me. Looking at all those posts of leather interior are making me wonder :P

Gave Paul Nolan a ring on the off chance that he’d have some GTO experience after reading all the reports re FTOs on the site. But I think I might have scared him a bit.

Have bearings and struts to go in and just ordered my plugs and oil filter from camskills. Good place for bits, nice to find one closer to home then getting everything from the states. Not sure if the ball joint needs to be replaced on the back the bearings are so bad I can’t tell.

Paul Nolan scared of cars? Never! I know that he's worked on the likes Supras and Scoobys in the past, in saying that, I could understand the TT setup in the GTO scaring off some mechanics. If its just suspension work you're after Paul is your man I would say, he pretty much replaced every suspension componant in my FTO. Assuming you can get all the parts, you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

Out of interest gtoirl, where do you normally get work done?
