Right folks its coming to that time of year again when we see which site has the most powerful members cars. In a five car team each car will get three runs, the best of which will be added to the best of the others of their team.

Whichever team has the lowest combined time takes home the trophy and bragging rights. Last year was the first time this was run and Driver.ie took the glory. Will they retain their title or will we have a new site to take the victory ?

For those sites who wish to enter could you please contact myself using the below contact info. All teams must submit a team no less than 4 weeks prior to the event which will be held on (EDIT: moved to) Sept 30th. We can't wait to see what each site brings to the battle. So let the fun begin.

I'm game - I'd like to do some driving this year..

I'll do a "feckin'" job on her and remove as much as I can from the inside..although I'll prolly leave the aircon in...

Maybe if our FTO's had Zed and Rex bodykits - along with a couple of Mivec manuals that might help bring our times up a bit. :wink:

I'll be entering the Zed in any case - certainly in the main 1/4 mile - or if ye'll have me, I'd be on for the site battle.

If you remove the 350Z style bodykit from your GPX, you'd be welcome to fly the FTO-Ireland flag

Put the FTO in the show & shine (the missus will drive it down) and put the Rex through the 1/4 mile.

BTW - The offers open to do a similar style BBQ at my place on the night before the event. A few of you guys are already familar with the location and theres a decent (€35 per night) guesthouse across the road from me.

Last year was good craic - was one of the better FTO Ireland meets we've done.

As long as you are a member of the site you can race for the team using any car you own, 350z, skyline, whatever...

i was at this last year with the blue FTO, and it was well worth a visit!!

the night before was good crack too!!

i'll definitely be up for this, depending on what dates as i'm away on holidays first weekend in Sept!!

When is this on? I was there last year and got a hefty fine on the way home due to a seriously distorted realisation of Speed....!!! Opps

anyone who's in two minds about this meet, it's well worth it, the bbq the night before was certainly good crack and the event itself is fairly decent too!!
