1997 Mitsi Legnum (VR4) SOLD SOLD AT LASt

Postby steelroe » Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:02 pm

EDIT: Moved to Japanese Performance - CJ

As per my previous post I have a 1997 legnum for sale . Mint condition. Willing to let it go for 2500 to anyone interested. Ideal for anyone toying with the idea of a 6A13 conversion to their fto. and you could sell on all the other parts to recoup some of the cost.

Keith, get yourself an engine cover, the bay looks empty without it, pic of my old engine bay:

Back on topic - Rory, if I had the few quid lying around, I'd have this Legnum off you, they're serious value for money.

A steal when you condiser the price of this one.
http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/1004577 Like the idea of Comercial TAX though.
Need rid of it and also getting rid of all the FTO's. Need the room as I am working from home now and the yard is full of ski's and cars.

What other channels are you refering to Maud. Did you manage to sell your one, seen it on donedeal a while back??

Local trade magazine
eBay (rarely works unless you just want rid and you're willing to take the risk of taking a hit on it)

Is it a manual or auto? A friend of mine is considering an engine transplant into his Altezza, has a 1JZ twin turbo lined up, but seems to be getting delayed and is on the look out for something else that might do.. He has a mechanic that is willing to undertake pretty much any engine swop and is very reasonable too!

If I still owned an FTO I'd be using this as my chance to convert to a VR4 engine set-up. Its certainly looking a lot cheaper to do than a couple of years ago.

LOL @ Keith!!! I guess you're feeling a bit sore now..

http://www.adverts.ie/showproduct.php?p ... 0161&cat=2

Rorys car is SUCH a bargain you wouldn't believe it..and I can definately vouch for the driveablity of these yokes..doesn't really feel like a big hunk of an estate car when you drive it..the only thing to remind you is the view in the rearview mirror really..

I was VERY positively surprised when I got my own..Granted they dont have the same sporty look as the FTO but there's a practicality and a fun factor that is unignorable.

Fantastic cars - and this one is at a fantastic price..
