How rye just got an fto mivec recently goin well so far just the tappets which il have don soon nd a bent brake disk. im 4rm Castlebar

Thought it must've been Ivan's as there aren't that many GPXs resprayed in blue apart from my old one and his.

Not ivan's car no I dont think, the interior of this one is done in black and white, as in major respray work.

it is gpx not gr i dno who was sellin it aas gr. gr is d non mivec v6 isn it? this is def mivec. wats the most probs tat go wrong with these?

pics with engine mate as i'm 90% sure that's a tip GR .

seen it a few times in Clondalkin it belonged to a chap who was looking to swap it for a bimmer.

insure who said anything about that ha ah no im not driving it properly yet ive to fix the tappets and then il know for sure if its gpx or gr the gr has hydraulic hasnt it and the gpx is adjustable. if it is gr do you think ill have to get a new set of tappets or will cleanin them and using a thicker grade oil do the job. if its gpx i no they just need adjusting hopefully thats what it is.

How can you not know if it's MIVEC or not, MIVEC would be written in red on the engine top. :?

Mivec - adjustable
Non mivec - non adjustable ( price to change incuding labour and parts ~ 600-800 eur )

as i said a picture with the heart of the beast would clarify a lot
