Hi guys, I've just joined tonight. I dont own an FTO, but I have 2 1/2 legnum manual VR4's. Do they qualify me for at least associate membership of sorts.
I have'nt figured how to upload photos yet, so you 're going to have to take my word on the 2 1/2 legnums. :smt006

Kiteman, we've met, I used to have a 01 tiptronic Galant, you may remember it:

Are you still running the Legnum as a commercial?

Welcome by the way!

Welcome along. If you really want to make yourself at home you could use 1/2 that VR4 (presuming it has an engine) combined with an FTO shell and have yourself a seriously quick FTO.

Thanks for the welcome guys, yeah I actually have 1/2 a legnum. I converted it to a tow van a while back. Its been road tested and it tows really well. When I figure out how to upload video and photos you'll get a look at it.
Also, both legnums are still commercials, and no I cant afford to keep them on the road

Half a Legnum From Youtube.com

Above is the link to the test run for my 1/2 a legnum. It was around dec 28th 2010 and my official cameraman had'nt turned up, so my 14 year old son got the gig.
After I dissappear up the road, scroll forward to 6 minutes to see my return to the car park.

The 1/2 a legnum was my first real trackcar +I had the body on 4 wheels lying around doing nothing, so I spent the odd few hours I had to spare during november and december chopping the front off and fitting a tow frame to it.
The end result is as above. Most people might think it daft, but I had fun with it.
By the way, both VR4's in the video have identical nurburgring stickers on the tailgates, as they both did numerous laps of the nordschliefe in their day.

1/2 a Legnum - I've heard it all now!

This is up there with the Fiesto on the uniqueness stakes.
