Are you using high wattage bulbs?, these have a tendency to blow.
You're better of using standard wattage or better yet, upgrade to HIDs.

Welcome to the club by the way, get some pics up when you can.

If you have HIDs, standard bulbs are no good to you.
You'll have to replace like with like, first thing is to find what colour temp. you have.
Replacements are easily gotten from ebay, unless it's the ballast that's gone...

Have a read of this: http://www.fto-ireland.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10700&hilit=hids
Colour temp would be on the bulb, but if you've changed both of them already...

The ballast is just under the air filter in this pic.

You'll always tell a car with HIDs, they tend to take a few seconds to warm up...

Theres pics somewhere all right, do a search for kziesorsky (I think thats how its spelt), hes the owner, or one of the previous ones anyway, and see his posts then for pics.

No FTO for me here I'm afraid, had to settle for a little 300zx instead. FTO is safe and sound back home waiting for my return.
Theres lots of them here all right but only a few really modded ones, dont get the same looks as they do at home at all. Shame.

I put in xenon bulbs into my last car, they were a different colour, shone a shade of purple, thing is they kept causing the lights to malfunction too, dont know what the reason was but I thought it was the stalk yet when I changed the bulbs back the ordinary ones worked fine.

yeah those exnon are a curse ive bought lots for different cars beamers mostly, and one allways blows in few weeks, there expensive in some shops and usually good brand but dont last at all, quailty is'nt a great factor, ive the genuine bulbs for it if you want them, probably not worth your while but if your about galway i' have them there for ya dubspartex......................also ive a load of documents from japan that came with it and handbook, i forgot to pass them onto donna when she bought it then,

The standard bulbs are 55W if memory serves me correctly, speaking from experience, high wattage bulbs (anything above 65W)have a tendency to melt connectors.

the exnon bulbs i put in fto where 55w yes, as its not recomened to put higher wattage in as cj stated, can melt connector plug and possible wiring damage.
