The Irish Mitsubishi FTO Owners Club

Was talking to them down in Mondello today, they say we only need to be there for 9am. so leaving Naas at 8.45 will be plenty early enough.


Unfortunately, between Modified Motors and Mondello we were originally told we'd get 6 free entries. this is no longer the case. entry for each car is €20.
We have been offered free entry to future MM events, but not to this one. If anyone wants further details on this please contact me directly.

Thats a bit of a joke if you ask me, (so were paying people to look at our cars )
Public tickets are €15, and €20 on the day.
Has every car club thats going into this have to pay?
Its not the money issue, the only difference is that were parking our cars IN the show,rather than outside, and since they were gonna give us 6 free spaces and then say no. I think the organisers are amature.
Dont get me wrong I commend Colm for all his work with the club and hes done everything rite, its the people he has to deal with, cant seem to make up their minds.

It's a bit silly alright. they say because we haven't dealt with Modified Motors in the past, we don't get in for free.
If you want to vote with your feet Dan, let me know by this evening as I'm collecting our passes tomorrow.

I can forward the correspondance to anyone who wants it. the bottom line is that it's €20 to get in.

Sounds like a bit of a cop out on the part of MM / Mondello but it can't be helped. Suggest we go as planned, if anyone wants to pull out, please let Colm know ASAP.

€15 is the discounted entrance ticket price for an adult only (i.e. no car!) and is completely different to what we're getting. There is no discount available for prepaying for stand entries.
I'm not paying for the passes tomorrow - just collecting them.

so thats 20 quid total for car to get in plus driver colm?

Mondello Jap-Fest tickets are now available direct from the circuit at reduced prices compared to on-the-day admission.

By booking in advance you can secure your tickets for the Sunday September 6th event at a reduced price of €15 compared to €20 on the day.

Under sixteen year old admission is available at the reduced price of €5 compared to €10 on the day.

Grandstand tickets are also available and while they are not discounted, purchasing in advance secures a seat which may not be available on the day due to the limited grandstand capacity.

Yep, it does, so the drag is effectively €30 more than just being on the club stand. Drag cars get to be displayed too.

Hope the weather get's better and that hotel ye are staying in is that on the Carlow side of Nass just after the light's if so might come up the old road from Kilcullen to Nass

Took my name of colm i was only ever going as a spectator i couldn't stay all day maybe next time
