Air conditioning unit noise

I have a ticking noise coming from behind the glove box what can it be ??
it stops after a minute or so.

Is this when the Air Con unit or Heater Fan is on?
Open the bonnet and have a listen on the bulkhead side and see if you can locate more accurately.

I have just taken out the glove box and the noise is coming from a white plastic box next to the cooling unit. It makes the noise even if the air conditioning unit is on or off.

Sounds like the airco fnan, its held in with a few bolts, take it out and it give a good clean (they get full of dust etc). If in doubt, post a pic of the box so as we can confirm.

does it do it when you adjust the temp? or just all the time? like a little buzzing?

It only does it when the temp is a minimum if i turn it a above 18.00 it goes away.
