Dodgey image aside, the SiR looks like a sweet package -honda reliability, 1.6 vtec with ~170ps.

Mother had a 98 VTI from new
Would be a good car for the missus - a car you wouldn't mind driving yourself
though it would need to be kept clear of spoilers etc

I think the Irish car 1.6VTI has 150bhp (or maybe 160bhp) ...
- "you really don't want that Passat what with its poor fuel economy etc". The only time the car ever hit the VTEC zone was when I was driving.



jap version has 168bhp, so only approx 5 bhp more,
Irish version has 163BHP

ive just been told irish 94 1.6 VTI was 160ps => 158bhp approx
