How about this for something completely different?

Classic tax and insurance might make up for the ridiculous fuel costs...

The only thing is you'd need a moustache

Never really taken a shine to the Boxster.
Reminds me of a girl I knew called Hannah who had a face like an a$$, which is ironic coz Hannah spelt backwards is the same as spelt forwards- it looks the same front the front or the back.
Just like the Boxster IMO - you dont know if its coming or going.

Apologies for the strange ramblings!

So you're saying that the Boxter is a bit on the palindromic* side?
Now that you mention it, I'm inclined to agree. You couls say the same about the TT...

It's easy to figure out......the red lights are on the back - white on the front...see
Actually I am starting to like the boxter..didn't care for it before.. since a few examples are coming into my price range.
Somebody tell me why the boxter is not a good buy while I'm waiting to see what soc goes for in that price range!

Unreal price for that American bucket - I'm sure you would get the same in the US for a few grand $

My views on Boxster......

Boxster + Male Driver = Poor bollix who can't afford a 911 :r Even TT has much more cred for a bloke.

Agree with you about affording the 911.......thats why I've considered a boxter but the :r thing is what worries me.
Come to think of it, the reason I drive an FTO is because I can't afford a 911
But 'TT' and 'cred for a bloke' should not ever be used in the same sentence!

Except that last sentence....probably :?

I'll throw two more cars into the melting pot - lotus elise and opel speedster. Really torn between the two at the moment, price vs. prestige!

drove the elise 111R, unbelieveable to drive, nightmare to get into though, alos the girl sales rep had to help me out of it too  , but when i heard that soundproofing, a decent stereo and A/C were extra, i was annoyed to say the least, they want 2k extra for metallic paint, 2.5k for delivery ( from england to ireland ) jesus, id get 4 bigger cars over fron japan for less than that  and a hard roof was something like an extra 3 or 4 k, felt like i was being abused, even though she was a love sales rep ,lol :) .

get one thats a couple of years old......... make sure its a 111R and not a rover engined 111S :?............. and has the full touring package, ill still be getting one, not sure if its this year though :(
