Driver side window sticking.

So I havent had a chance to open the door up and check, but thought i would ask here for most likely problem. Driver side window only goes down a little less than half way before a loud gring noise (similar to a gearbox grinding, but. Louder) can be heard. It wont stop until the button is pressed to stop the down function. Same thing happens when it reaches the closed position. What do you think? Motor, regulator, trapped hamster?

Definitely the regulator. Search on here and Steelroe has a detailed fix explained.

Afraid I can't find it. And he has 89 pages of posts to search! Tried searching "window" and "regulator" in his posts, but nothing much came up. I will try this first and the. Try the motor, obviously after making sure there are no obstructions blocking the moving parts.

I would also say thats related to regulator but U wont know for sure till U have the out.
Only one ever build 1.3 turbo Fto, 0.7 bar on stock internals...because your imagination is the only boundary
