95 GR

Postby RatherBeDean » Thu Jan 23, 2014 5:03 pm

Alright lads,
Have pretty much concluded my interest in my 95 auto GR.

Originally bought her to drive but after getting a 97 GX from Mick in November I relegated the GR to a parts car.
As such it's had the left wing stripped off and replaced with a damaged black wing from the GX.

Willing to break her for parts, but I've never broken a car before so assistance could be required (Mick mentioned Gerry may be the lad to look to for this).

Will have a full list of parts that I've already claimed for myself when I have a bit more time on my hands.

Alternatively I'm willing to sell her whole to anyone wanting to make an offer.

Snag here is that I have no log book, previous owner was a top notch wanker and never sent it out after I bought it. So if you want her as more than a parts car you'll have to go via Shannon to have it declared in your name.

Open to offers here, either for parts or as a whole.

I would have bought that GX myself if I had known Mick was gonna sell it 2 days after buying it.

Regarding the GR: run it through the toll a couple of times and I bet the log book will show up pretty damn quickly.
97 Manual GPX. Icecelle Blue.
Other Stuff: Induction kit. Front Strut. Apex Lowered. 17" Kahns. Quad exhaust. HID lights. Glow dials and rings/cups. Black leather seats. Window tints. Sunroof.

That is feck genius! Shame I didnt think of it before I pulled the wing off of her!

What would you want with my GX having that absolute beast of a GPX in your drive?

Being honest I'm already contemplating selling her and buying Carls black GPX just for the joy of Mivec

Hahaha. Make sure you put a decent bumper on the gpx if you buy it.

LOL the veilside has grown on me since I seen this in England. Still nowhere near as gorgeous as standard facelift, but not the worst!

Ah lads, go easy on him. I heard one of the lads in the gym fell down the stairs and banged his head. Now I know who it was. Dean, we're all praying you have a speedy recovery and that your taste returns soon.

If you need rid of it, i'll give you €150. I would only be using it as a shield to protect my own fto when i park it up. I have no other use for it, but it's a little more than what you would get for scrapping and less hassle than breaking.

Sound. Only catch is you'd have to drop it down to my old mans in Clarehall if that's ok? I can drop you back home no problem. My usual car collector buddy is still recovering from being dragged across country last week in search of a mondeo

I can take the car pretty much anytime Sun-Wed. I remember you're local enough anyway, so hope that's cool.

Have a few hours Wednesday where I could drop that down to you, any time that suits better than others?

Gerry and another lad, Marty, had already enquired about it too, but honestly with the state she's in at this stage I doubt they'd still want her. A shield may be all she's good for.

Dean, you'll need to take the exhaust within the next day or so if you still have use for it. The car has been up there well over a month. I mentioned to you already that work would be starting this month. I told George he can break and scrap the car once he is done with it. I was up there yesterday and noticed the exhaust still there. The car will be cut up pretty soon.
