Postby CJ » Fri May 26, 2006 9:04 pm

It finally stopped raining today so I took the bucket and sponge to the cars, while I was at it, I took a few pics of the RX-7, see link below:

To be honest, I just washed it, it needs a good belt of a some polish and wax, the bodywork is in very good condition apart from a few swirls here and there. Theres loads of room in the back of the FTO in comparison to the Rex!

Car looks super - really like the RX7 in black - those look like 4 pot calipers on the front.

Can we have an RX7 - FTO faceoff?
Get the two cars to face each other - would make for an interesting comparison.

One of the neighbours asked if I'd won the lotto, in these times were people are money savvy, folks still can't put a value on a lot of less the common jap 'exotica'.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of the Rex in black, they sure are 4 pots, the brakes are excellent.

Funny you should say that, I was thinking about this last night, with the right background (e.g. that pier down in Kerry), you could get some really snappy pics.

They're amazing to sit into, got to try the seat in one recently. They look a lot better when they're moving :)

Stick another 100 quid on top of that ;) I went for Michelin Pilot Sports SP2s - very pricey but excellent grip from what I've already experienced.

I paid about 900 quid for the Pilots, and that was with a discount!
The fronts are 235/45/17 which are a bit cheaper, thank god.
