Changing discs question

Postby goz_83 » Wed Feb 08, 2012 6:45 pm

I seem to be getting conflicting advice on this. If I am changing the rear discs, is it necessary to bleed the brake hose if the caliper is not removed from the hose

I am thinking about changing them myself and might put the apex springs on too. It might also be a good opportunity to paint the calipers.

No, not necessary.
As long as caliper is not removed from the hose.
Remove calliper from brake setup and cable tie them up to a safe place so there is no strain on the hose and u will be fine.
