Look in to manual conversion maybe?

Maybe a manual conversion from the sounds of it.

Two choices basically:

1. Manual FTO gearbox, flywheel, clutch kit, gearbox linkage
2. Manual 1.6 Mivec gearbox, this more expensive but also way better, 1.6 Mivec flywheel and clutch kit
also depending on Your FTO model inner CV joint cups, You still need FTO gearbox linkage with this gearbox.

clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, gearstick and pedal box can be from FTO or Mirage, Lancer, Colt.

Also if you go for the 1.6 box I would imagine you get better acceleration as the gear ratio should be shorter

if changing from a manual FTO gearbox to a 1.6 mivec one do you need to change cv cups and clutch and flywheel ???
or are they all the same

1.6 has smaller CV cups, clutch and flywheel can be used from the fto or 1.6, whatever you preffer.

1.6 Is smaller so lighter thus adds a bit more to acceleration but will need clutch changing more offten...
