A set of steel 15" steel wheels off a GS or GR would be ideal....

CJ

I had a set of those steel wheel's that were on the car when i got it, gave them to my sister as she was going to take the tyre's off them if you wanted them could check if she still has the rim's.

ill be out in october hope to see a few of ye get a run against a fto see if ye can keep up  in the process of building a good spec box in her. and a mapped ecu and the happy gas haha

for 15 inch wheels ek9 wheels on a honda will fit there 5x 114.3 aswell along with 98spec tegs the smaller the wheels the shorter your gear ratios go if any of ye want to shortin year final drive a cyborg rs final drive is a direct fit even a rs mivec gearbox will bolt up they have shorter final drive and a shorter 2nd gear

What kind of times are you hoping for? I've yet to see an Asti Mivec in the 14's.

lol seb,not puttin my times up there they were brutal due to the clutch and inexperience

my first run was the best, which was disappointing as i was thinking i would improve a good bit.
you could easily get 20 runs in the day

the other guy was shane greene,he only has the FTO 3 weeks.
he is looking for a front bumper so i pointed him in this direction

gowaaan kona , it's not like we are professional drag racers , for most of the guys who did try it it was one of their first experiences as well .

so .. manual .. gpx .. for sure you were on the 15.30 bracket .. first time dragging .. i'd say 15.5 ?

well with the box haven a 5.1 final drive and shorter 3rd 4th 5th gear and a good mapp and nitrous ill see 200bhp hopefully
maybe 195bhp so hopen low 14s maybe a 14 flat but i highly dout that id be happy with a 14.4

i always loved them classes ...

If you are in the 15.30 class and in the final (or at any stage )you get a time of say 15.29 .. you are moved to the next class(14.30) HAHA

Great job guys!

Better than 14.4sec on a 1/4 mile is gonna be a big ask with the Asti unless you go FI regardless of diff/gearing/R888's etc
Let me know when you're doing the next 1/4 mile and I'll tag along with the Zed - the new Kaaz diff and R888's should make a difference for getting my power down - can't wait to see what kinda times its capable of.
