Jeez, sounds like a nice lad... might give it a miss myself in that case... Spend the day getting some jobs done on my FTO for the anniversary meet instead.

Why would a hacker go to the trouble of recommending "midnightclub" as an alternative?

agreed...

i dont particularly get on with mifnight club ADMIN

since one of their reps put their stickers on the door of my mx3 and scrached it!

and when i said something about it i was pretty much told that my post was a waste of space and deleted.

BUT anyway....

sorry for anyone who turned up....

Kinda like a Cyber version of the 1/4 mile site battle last September?
If memory serves me correctly - I believe Midnightclub won that one as well. :smt017

Seriously though -I would be very surprised if Midnightclub had anything to do with hacking your site dan.

Lads, if I used my l33t hax0r skillz on dans site, you can be sure I'd be covering my tracks. I should point out that I always have my whitehat on....

Dan - I doubt the site was hacked, its also unlikely that it was a result of a vulnerability in vBulletin, looks to me like someone got (or guessed) the admin and took the forum offline. If the backend database is still intact, it should only take a short while to get it back online. Has the admin checked it out?
