Newbie from England :-p

Postby e6fto » Sat Jan 21, 2012 8:00 pm

Hey all! :smt006

Just popping over to say hi. Mentioned about a possible road trip to Ireland this summer and a fellow FTO buddy on facebook happened to mention the FTO Ireland club, so I said I would pop along and say hi, and hopefully while im over there I can get to a meet or something!
Im currently on the FTO OC in case there is anyone on here who recognises the name :D

Here is my baby, a Passion Red GPX, bought her in April and have done shed loads to her since buying her, spent far too much but achieving everything Ive wanted for her so far so Im happy and with shed load more plans as well :D Second pics a bit rubbish but only recently put the VR spoiler and tinted lights in and thats the only pic i have of them both :smt004

Hope to meet some of you soon! ;)

Welcome along :)
That's a fine example you have, is that a red rim on the wheels or an insert?

Hey thanks for all the messages :)

Erm...I am on the FTOOC so you may well have seen it over there, or perhaps facebook, i get so confused tho between peoples real names and their usernames lol! (so sorry if i dont recognise ya!)

Ah yes, JDL! I do like it but am struggling to find skirts that suit it, after some photoshopping it was clear that the DCs werent exactly the best and dont sit as low as the rest, and the JDL skirts are far too bubbly (they no longer do the smooth one). I love the rear bumper as its perfect for twins! ;)
However the JDL is soon to be off. Last night some guy (or gal!) hit me and drove off whilst i was driving, he mashed my wing and scraped all my bumper so im considering perhaps another look, I quite like the Bozz front end so thats on there and then the DCs would look fab with that!

Its actually a proper red rim painted into the wheel, but its properly smoothed in with the black. I spend AGES lookin for the right wheels, I must have spent months telling people "i will be changing them, honest!" :-p Plus they are a satin black too which i love and think work with my lights and bonnet.

Lots more plans, including
now changing the front end
adding the side skirts
heated seats and wing mirrors
the rest i have planned is silly things like matching lighting inside and some lighting outside, small little picky things :D

Thanks again all :D :smt006

Your plans remind me of one I saw at the rising sun in '09.
