Bored Out Throttle Body

Postby Bernard » Fri Apr 28, 2017 11:30 pm

Saw this tonight while doing my usual window shopping.
Anyone have any experience or opinion on it?

Ive bored out mine to 63mm, gives a bit more to throttle response, a few hp up top, a few Nm less. Thats with no remap, but upgraded exhaust, decat, panel filter etc...

Cheers, it looks like an easy mod.
I hadn't heard of anyone doing it before so was curious... something to think about.

You might want to bore out your intake manifold or at least port it out to ensure smooth patch for air.

There seems to be a tiny difference on the bored out body, would it really make any noticeable difference - I can't imagine it would ?
