finding KYB shock absorbers

Postby flateric » Thu Sep 24, 2015 12:37 am

Hi guys,

I'm having a VERY hard time finding the KYB shock absorbers. Camskill already removed them from the website and on ebay they only sell the front-right. The left ones are still advertised on ebay but out of stock..

Any ideas or alternatives ?

Thanks!

They don't have them in stock either. phoned 5 different suppliers.. no go. I was told that the Volvo S40 Shocks are a direct replacement for the FTO.. anybody having experience ?

Volvo s40 shocks will fit calling them a direct replacement might be a bit far the 2 cars weigh different amounts with some s40s 200kg heavier than a gpx... I think arb mounting points are different that's easily sorted though

Found another place that might sell them.

http://www.motorparts.ie/steering-suspension/Shock-Absorbers/Mitsubishi/FTO/all/2.0/1999/Parts.aspx

Part numbers are weird so try and get into contact with them first.
