hi lads been on various fto forums but they seem very slow not much traffic
ive just bought a 95 gr not imported till 2005 so reckon the rust will be ok for a while the tappets are very noisy on start up is there a special oil and filter for them some have a jet inside ill uploads some pics for you

new ones piaa rozzas only cost 70
got them blasted sprayed in moonstone silver with gold and red flakes by my bro in law

I had a GR a while back and it to had noisy tappets on start up. Unfortunately if you want to get the noise to go away they more than likely need to be replaced and it costs a small fortune as Its a fairly big job replacing them. Unlike the Gpx model which you can adjust them.

A thicker oil will help a little but not a magical cure.

the tappet thing is common on the gr v6 non mi-vec and theonly thing u can do is replace them.sorry :wink:

ok cheers it only lasts a minute then stops then starts again then stops can the wrong filter and oil do this whats the right oil to use does anyone know the right part number for the filter
