hard to start when cold

hi all just wondering if any of u have ever come across the fto being hard to start when cold its like its flooded or some thing it starts after a couple of goes and when it does its really lumpy for like a seccond then revs up and is perfect then this only happens in the mornings and coming home from work. i got the car sat and was told when i got it that the plugs have been done in a garage befor i got it?
any ideas

o and how often does the timing belt want doing it has done 70'000km since the last time

1. Check battery
2. take out and clean stepper motor ( have a search and see how it's done - takes 10 mins)
3. don't take the ''they were done'' for granted , unless there is a service history or the seller can be trusted ( family ,friend, forum member :) )

the battery is fine cause she'll swing away good tho it does looks a bit small tho
i think u maybe right about the plugs i'll pull them out at the weekend i think to check them

Forget the plugs until you check the Stepper. More than likely it's this.

As above. If that doesn't sort it don't worry, mine is the same in the cold. Can kangaroo a bit or feel like a turbo in the cold before it warms up too.

Timing belt needs to be done every 80,000.

i will reseach what a stepper ig and how to chech it then go at it tomorrow thanks lads

you dont know what back pads i need part number wise do u?

timing belt interval is 100,000km as far I know. Would recommend doing waterpump while at it and the gas tensioner too.

Camskill have them or you can buy EBC whitestuffs...
