How are you guys.
I bought an FTO GPX MIVEC 95' MANUAL in 2001 with 22.000km(new). Here in lima the driving seat is to the right so we swapped the direction from right to left.
Ive used this car a lot it has saved my life plenty of times its very reliable, beautiful, fast you know....I kept this car standard, then i stopped using it and now im modding it and tunning it so thats why I decided to read your forum to learn from you guys I hope you dont mind.

Here is a list of parts Ive just brought from all over the world specially form Japan,Austalia,Malaysia and the UK.

Paint Job is finished: Black with Blue pearl

This next month I will fit
Racing Header (From RPW Australia)
Header Wrap
0.800 Shiimms head gasket (From RPW Australia)
Thermoblock Gaskets (From RPW Australia)
TEIN Super Street Coilover KIT(With out pillow mounts yet)
Racing oil Radiator
Gizzmo Mivec Fuel and Cam Controller
OZ 17'' Wheels
EBC Red Stuff
Complete caliper and discs overhaul
Interior overhaul
walbro fuel pump
fuel boost regulator

(got a new ECU original form a GPX MIVEL 95 MANUAL so ill fit this in to see what happens plus the new fuse boxes i got together with the ecu...)

Next months or july Ill get Qualife LSD and Cams.

Ill make a photo journal.

Smokesolid, welcome to the forum, its always a breath of fresh air to hear from FTO owners like yourself based in far flung places like Peru (to us anyway!). Thats a nice mod list you have lined up, keep us posted with your progress and make sure to get some pics up.

Welcome - Wow - how did an FTO ever make its way to Peru ? Do you know which country it resided in before you got it ?
You must really turn heads in Lima with this car.

Also, I presume that your horn is in perfectly working order !! - People in Lima tend to use them every 5 seconds or so right ? ;-) At least they did when I visited there last.

Hi thanks for all the compliments.

First time everything was swapped i wasnt present to document but it was kind of a good work but we changed everything once again so the second time we correct small mistakes the other team did during swapping. I dont know how to call the parts in english correctly but the drive shaft we used the firt time was decent it really turned well and terminal where changed too we invsted quite a bit of time on that but thank god its cool know.

Theres no community just some 10 fto owners like me but that want the car just for looks because ive never seen a fast one or a manual gpx around.

best,
