Thanks Gary!

Car is driving since a little while but today for the first time i decided to see what shes when hit real boost so engine received 0.5 bar

Nothing that bad has happen but i have to recalculate the fuel map.

till 0.1-0.2 bar she goes very good, only thing im worry about is that shes loosing power when hitting anything over that??

A few pics to complete the topic.....

Back to update this topic as theres some work going on unrelated to 1.3 turbo set up.

Waiting for the Tein lowering springs ive tidy up the boot so the side trays with covers as well as the spare wheel are back in the car now:

Image

Reinforced spare wheel cover:

Image

And the boot look more or less complete now just need to clean the carpet or wash it, im not sure yet.

Image

Also the sub is in just need to come up with a way to tie it down to stop it from moving.

Image

Image

Work continued at the long weekend:

Image

Image

Image

And finally shes 2 eeee even 4 seater as the back seats are also fitted just no picture of it.

Image

Some exterior tidy up now:

A couple of L brackets would be best for rigidity, but some straight brackets secured to the base of the sub would be neater. Spray them black before fixing.

Looks great Seb, what did you use for the scuttle panel? Satin black paint? I hear vinyl dye works great too and have also seen people using a heat gun. When is she going to be back on the road?

Front bumper tidy up:

Image

Image

Image

Ops...

Image

Doesn't look as bad any more just not fitted properly yet as i need to pull the headlights off to get em resprayed with clear lacquer.

Image

Image

Image

Added lightness to the interior.....

Image

Image

Image

Bracket welded in to help support the whole construction.

Image

Also double decker hi fi is in :)

Image

Image

Image

Ever since ive fitted power steering there was a small leak so finally ive managed to find the source of it.

Image

Replaced with spare seal and there no more annoying dark spots on the driveway.

Image

Finally parts have arrived to!

Image

Image

So i went at changing the discs, springs and to finish 10's other annoying bits, also inspection plate on gearbox was letting some oil out so that got sorted too :)

Image

About time lol!

Image

Image

Image

Image

One side no probs but when i went at drivers side, after removing the wheel ive spot this......

Image

Sure that would fail the nct so i had to replace it :(

Image

Image

Image

I must say they looks tasty lol

Image

Image

People be wondering why ive no progress with water/methanol injection, here's why haha

The discs are very tasty looking alright! I'll need to get a set shortly, was thinking to get either set from EBS or grooved and drilled set from Camskill, if you don't mind me asking where did you get them from?

The bumper came out great too, all it needs now is a nice new badge (MR300033) - about €15 from main dealer.

Mikoda GT, made in PL, have very good reviews reasons i went with em. They were 70-80 a pair so not to bad at all.

Thanks, I was thinking that i need to come up with something for the badge, either buy it or paint it on the bumper, thanks a lot for the part number

As one lad said....

I like it, but same time it looks wrong haha

Whole project is like that, 1.3 turbo FTO with water methanol injection, that doesn't sound right at all :smt003 :smt003 :smt003

The plan ;)

Image

Water/alcohol injection tank assembly:

Image

Image

Testing for leaks, full of water since a few days now, no single drop of water out of it, good!

Image

Nozzle holder DIY design, i wonder should i register patent for it haha

Image

Image

Image

More bits turned up:

Image

Testing the true flow of 1GPH nozzle:

Image

@55-60 psi ~65ml per minute, brilliant to start from!!!

Pump produce @ about 9.5v ~50psi of pressure, @ 12v ~80psi, @14v ~100psi
Nozzle at 80psi gives nice very fine fog like quality spray so injecting the mix pre turbo should give best results in my case.

Or if You impatient and have an account there go to read the whole thing 8)

Fuel filter arrived......finally ya bolix:

Image

@maxpower; proper hose it is sir ;)

Image

Pressure gauge fitted.

Image

Tidy:

Image

Tidy way to hide the volt meter too :)

Image

Image

No idea why but after everything is fitted the pressure creeps over the 100psi at 12v, not sure should i do something about it or not.....

Image

Image

Image

Officially first (probably) ever water/alcohol injected FTO not mention the engine size etc up and running :)
