Yeah - was great to see everybody! And very encouraging that so many relatively recent additions to the forum made the journey down.

The Myfeckin' hosts threw an amazing do for us - and the sunday was brilliant as well.

The cars on display looked really well - as for my own I will do my very best make it more presentable for next years even - I might start by washing it in Daylight ;-)

I have a HEAP of pictures .. some good... some not so good... they're all going online when I get home from work today..

Back to snoozing ;-)

it was a top quality meet, better than last year, so we'll have to put a big effort in for next year!!!

Great to meet all the new additions to the club and great to catch up with the old club members!!

I'm going to start saving for some slicks for next year!!!!

Great weekend in all.
Good craic Saturday night and Sunday - well done to all - ye are all a super bunch of peeps! :smt023

Great to see so many FTO's lined up together at the BBQ and the show.
Well done to all that contributed - special thanks to Colm for work put in on signage and the plates where cool (You went away without me giving you the money though).

Some of us stayed for the results-

They announced the site battle winner as the "midnight club" but from talking to the lads I believe it went down to the wire. The fact they had a 12 second Evo in the group is what as the compere said "dug them out of the sh1t".

Well done to our site battle crew and especially to the 3 FTO's that put up a great fight. Astonishing 0-60 times of circa 6.2 secs from Muads GPX and a top result of 14.8 secs for the 1/4 mile. ikeane and miss enzo ran really well as well and both had super looking FTO's. I think both myself and Dave suffered from a lack of traction in the Zeds - I had to launch using only 2000rpm and couldn't fully plant the accelerator untill I was in 3rd but am reasonably happy with a 5.4 sec 0-60 time and a 14.1 sec 1/4 mile time. Next year the 13's beckon - its definetly in the car!

Oh yeah - the 1/4 mile results in full will shortly go up on www.theresults.co.uk

Was so busy running around from 1/4 mile to S&S that I didn't get to take any pictures - so will someone please post some pics!

sh1te, i was launching at 3K revs!!!! ah well, you live and learn!! Maud's runs though were quality, it had to have been a mix of either the learner driver sticker or the "carbon fibre" rear!!

Who's going to organise the nurbergring?

Great weekend guys, hats off to everyone at the show who made FTO-Ireland a significant focal point for the visiting crowds both in terms of the cars in show and shine and on-track.

Thanks go to:

MyFeckin FTO and his missus feeding us up with some cracking BBQ food the night before and organising the event.

Colm for sorting out FTO-Ireland licence plates and the excellent FTO flag and flagpole

Muad for entertaining us with his new carbon fibre rear bumper and intensely loud exhaust (he also put in some serious times on track)!

Bernard for the velcro and scissors (I still have them in the boot by the way, I'll get them back to yoiu at the next meet!).

Seb for sticking an 'under construction' sign on his FTO, the crowd saw the funny side of it!

Everyone at the show and shine section for turning up in sparkling clean FTOs.

The guys on track (MFFTO, Dave, Muad, Ikeane, miss-enzo) who represented the club valiantly - next year guys!

I'll get some pics up in the album soon - if anyone has some good pics, please send 'em onto me.

Thanks Myfecking for organizing the B&B and the BBQ was super.
Sorry for leaving earlier, I was a bit "exhausted" by the problems I had on my way over there.
