2000 reg FTO

spotted a 00 reg fto near fairview church - parked outside someones house during the lenister final yesterday. looked like champange silver. didn't know they made fto's into 2000.

I think they stopped around about then so that would have prob. been the last ones made. You hear of a few '99s etc around the uk but the newer ones only seem to be making their way over now which I suppose makes sense as those who own them prob. won't sell until 3 years or more of owning them in Japan.

I think it was early 2001 when they stopped production.

In 1971 the FTO was produced this was a Galant Coupe FTO,

But it was not until October 1994 that the FTO as we know it today was first produced, production ran till Mid 2000. when it was retired. All FTO’s have the same body shell and come in different engine sizes and configurations from the 1800cc GS up to the 2000 V6 MIVEC GP Version R Aero Series.
