[EVENT] 0-60/FTO joint meet [10th February 2008]

Postby d_dan » Mon Jan 07, 2008 12:58 am

Hey guys,

Im just wondering if some of the members, admin & enthusiasts on the site would be intrested in having a joint meet with 0-60performance?

First off id like to point out that we arnt liek some other sites you may know who premote messing at a "meet"

first off im not trying to take members off FTO-IRELAND im simply offering something to do. My goal with my site is not to grow huge with 1000's of members but to have a good friendly number of participating members not just online, offline or on the site itself but owners clubs and groups of enthusiasts. who would like to participate in activities

We prefer the meet up hang out and do something a bit more entertaining.
in 2008 we hape to see more RR/DYNO days some track time and more group team events (karting, paintballing etc.)

maybe some of you have heard of the ISOC?

This is where we have teamed up with the skyline owners club.
and made space and invited the skyline owners to work with 0-60performance.

since then we have set up another site just for toyota owners www.toyota-irl.net which is workiong to the same effect.

This has had a great outcome and we now have great turn outs with their members and allows both groups to do events that we vould not have done in smaller groups.

here is some pics to show you the sort of turn out we have with the skyline owners and it would love to get some of the IRISH FTO owners involved too.

Something that might also intrest you guys is that we do award prizes to the VOTED nicest car of the day, best result in a RR and so on so were giving you a reason to attend the meets and also incites a bit of fun aswell!

I think a joint meet would be most beneficial where FTO Ireland typically struggle for numbers - like for instance karting or rolling road or trackday meets.

I'd be on for any of the above.

I'd be interesting in the rolling road day..... keep us posted, as for the meet on the 10th, it's a bit close to the 5 year anniversary meet so I'd say you'd be struggling for numbers from here.
