Standard front springs Wanted "TODAY" sun 9th march

As the post says needed badly today. Im in the middle of changing my front shocks and I see the previous owner has cut the springs and they have split from the cut back about 20mm. Today is the only day I have to work on the car anyone close to clonmel or Tipperary with a set?

I won't be traveling that far lol. I will have to wait until tomorrow to lodge money to buy new apex ones. I hate when you run into previous owners careless jobs. I wouldn't dream of handing a car over like that. I will know next time to check springs on any further buys.

Why people cut springs is beyond me, lowering springs are cheap and for most cars cheap coilovers are available too. At least you'll know it's right when your done

Well he said there cut anyway so that's a good enough reason to rid of them. Some springs do rust and snap sometimes, they might not be original mitsi ones.

Lol, call me king of doggy stuff but soon enough i'll be on 4 cut springs while i was on the rear only till now

Removed the proper lowering springs and put in cut yokes. I never would recommend doing that to stock springs unless You get stock springs from car that carry more weight on em and then cut em, that what i did.

I know but I am putting the standard 16" wheels back on and taking the 18" off, when I get them refurbished.

Finally got the front shocks and springs fitted. I picked worse day ever rain rain and more rain. Took some pics of spring it wasn't cut like I thought previous but snapped. I lined up the shock hole in the centre of the shock with the top of the strut hole vertically. Is this right ? The two shocks removed were dead no resistance and no bump stops on either.

The old springs were "proper" lowering springs not the cut ones lol.
Im more convinced towards my cut ones looking at these pics hehe.

Well I have 18" on the car so it will look very low I will stick up a few pics when I get the rear done.
