Hi there - have my '97 man gpx for a couple of months now.
Really cool site - have learned a lot of great info from you guys.. thanks!

Welcome stevec, where abouts in Dublin are you based and what colour is your GPX? (useful info in the event that you're spotted ;))

Southside - Rathrarnham area....

It's the one 'mivec' advertised here a while back - red with a vr spoiler.

Have had no probs at all so far - runs great. Heading to Paul Nolan for a service and belt change next week...

Welcome Steve, I remember that car from when mivec was advertising it, fantastic looking machine! Its no silver mind you :P but looks very well.

That's the one.
It's had a professional re-spray at some point (maybe cos I've heard the red has a history of going pink-ish over time)
Had a mechanic mate check it out and he reckons it was pure cosmetic - (as opposed to trying to cover anything up).
Looks like it was heavily kitted out when in japan as theres a few holes in the top of the dash and rear shelf - you can just make out the TV ariels in the picture (rear window).
Also has oil psi and vac gauges fitted + induction filter.
