broken bonnet cable

just bought another fto and the woes have started within an hour, bonnet cable has broken on second pull, how do I get bonnet open without wrecking the car. thanks for looking.

Depends on wherenit broke. You shoukdmbe able to get at the cable via the drivers wheel arch. Jack up car, remove liner and you should be able to locate the cable. Just pray it broke at the footwell end.

nope in engine bay, can I get bumper off without bonnet being lifted. don't want to wreck the bumper as its a facelift car.

I dont think so, U have to try trough the grille maybe!
Only one ever build 1.3 turbo Fto, 0.7 bar on stock internals...because your imagination is the only boundary :)

got it from underneath, with 10mm spanner, 3 10mm bolts lift complete lock out. :smt006 time for new front pipe, bonnet cable and then see how it goes.

Great, good to know in case mine break ever :)
