My GPvR, 1.3 Turbo, yes you got it right ;)

Right so basically the car came as on the pics from for sale tread:

Next day after buying it ive trial fit different wheels and removed the spoiler to see how it looks without it:

Then the other day ive clean the engine bay a bit as it was quite bad from lying up long time:

Before:

After:

Today i have:

Fit the skirts proper as they were sticking out in some places.

Fit the bonnet support bracket as it was broken.

Sprayed one side of the bumper to see will the color match the rest of the panels.

No pics tonight, sorry.

What left that has to be sorted:

NCT (once the tax book come)

Spray the front bumper in matching the rest of the car color

Fit the front bumper proper (as its hanging down to much)

Change both inner drive shafts CV joints

Refurbish the wheels that came on the car (dont know what colour yet but most likely white or black)

Weight the car.

Remove the A/C and related.

Strip out the boot of anything that can be removed.

Map the car on the controller that came with.

Enjoy it then :smt003

Fair play to you.You must have had some work cleaning that engine.Keep the pics coming.
It's nice to see it getting some TLC.

Thanks, it was quite time consuming but came up not that bad, need some rust spots treated and i will spray some of the worst parts of the engine bay to refresh it a bit more.
Once the log book come she will have some fresh test on it as well, well hopefully she wont fail on something that bad at least :D

Need to sort short dog bone bushes to before she can be tested.

Anyway, what done today:

Removed passenger side drive shaft to see what type of inner CV joint it has.

Image

Image

Also ive did a few snaps of the paint colour sample on the front bumper.

Passenger side that wasnt touched yet:

Image

And driver side after (please note that ive spray only that much marked at the pic, maybe a little more to the indicator and fog light)

Image

Image

Image

Also start refurbish one of the wheels to see how easy will the paint come of.

Tax book comeday or two ago, NCT booked at 22-nd this month.

Doing dog bone bushes next week to make sure she wont fail on anything that obvious.

Should be all good :)

It's nice when a load of work like that actually has an impact on the look of the car. Looks great!

Thinking to spray the wheels black with red strips at the edges.
What do ye lads think?

And maybe carbon wrapped roof? :)

Spray the standard wheels silver, whites not to bad either.
Wouldn't wrap the roof it looks weird on an fto.

Yup, I'd avoid the wrap too.
The wheels could look ok, it's hard to tell with a white car though and it would depend on the quality of the job too.

Here's a pic of a factory finish in black/red (robbed from a UK owner's facebook)

The only reason the black/red color looks good there is because them wheels are aftermarket, don't think it would suit the standard fto wheels.

You can buy a red tape for wheels. It goes on like one of those tippex rollers. When it looks terrible (which imho will be right away) you can rip it off.

So as well as some other things you have a cracked rear view mirror. Am I reading that right?

Its passenger side rear view mirror that broken if that's what U did understand Kace.

Also battery bracket, parking lamp not working, flexible breaking pipe not secure and tracking is far off

Thats all after 5years no NCT on it!!!

Also i bought this GPX today so i will have some parts for the other 2
